Are you able to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines during the experiences?

Yes. We’ve made sure that we can keep 1,5 m distance from each other. We’ve also provided hygiene measures to disinfect hands upon entrance. For more information, please see our COVID-19 policy here.

What is Botanical rum?

Botanical rum is a rum which is re-distilled or infused with botanicals (citrus, fruit, herbs, spices) to create a refreshing new flavour perfect for mixing.

I want to reschedule/cancel my booking, how do I do that?

It is possible to reschedule your booking up to 72 hours before the start of the event. You can cancel your booking up to 7 days before the start of the event. Please contact us via email events@spirited-union.com or give us a call +31 20 363 8630.

I don’t drink alcohol, are there any alternatives?

During the tasting there is unfortunately no alternative.
Distilling Classes – If you’ve booked a distilling class there is an alternative to distil with water.
Cocktail workshop – If you’ve booked a cocktail workshop it is possible to make some drinks without alcohol.

Will you send my gift voucher through post?

To prevent unnecessary use of paper and shipping costs, we only send our vouchers via email.

I would like to come with a large group is that possible?

Yes. Bookings of more than 8 people can be made on our website at the ‘group bookings’ page. We will send you a quote and contact you as soon as possible to discuss the details. If you have any questions beforehand, you can contact us via email events@spirited-union.com or give us a call at +31 20 363 8630.

When or what days do your experiences take place?

Distilling Classes – Distilling classes are available on Fridays and Saturdays at 6:30 pm.
Tours & Tastings – Tours & Tastings are available on Fridays at 5:00 pm and Saturdays at 3:00 pm.
Cocktail Workshops – Cocktail workshops are available on request for a minimum of 8 people.
Team building events – Team building events can be booked on any available time.

I ordered something from the web shop, how long will it take before my package arrives?

Orders within Netherlands will take approximately 2-5 working days. Orders outside the Netherlands will take approximately 3-8 working days. You will receive a track & trace code through email where you can follow your package. Unfortunately, we do not currently ship outside of mainland Europe.

What are the delivery costs?

Orders within the Netherlands: €6,95 (Free Shipping with two 70cl bottles)
Orders within EU: €14,95 (Free Shipping with three 70cl bottles)

How long are vouchers valid for?

Vouchers are valid for 12 months after purchase.

How many people can attend each experience?

Distilling Classes – The distilling classes are up to 26 – 52 people.
Tours & Tastings – The Tour & Tasting is available for up to 26-52 people.
Cocktail Workshops – The Cocktail workshop has a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 50.

Can I book experiences on the day itself?

It is possible to book an experience as long as the experience has space available. Please contact us through email events@spirited-union.com or phone +31 20 363 8630 to avoid any disappointments.

Could I book a private/corporate event at the distillery?

Yes, you can book a private or corporate event. Please contact us via email events@spirited-union.com or give us a call at +31 20 363 8630 so we can discuss the details.

What’s the difference between a regular and a deluxe distilling class?

The deluxe distilling class offers an additional cocktail arrangement during the distilling.

What confirmation do I receive when ordering through the web shop?

Once you have paid for your order, you will receive an email confirmation or E-voucher to the email address you submitted. Always check your spam inbox if you don’t receive a confirmation, as your provider may block it.

Is it possible to return my order?

Returning orders is possible if the bottle is unopened, undamaged and the seal is still intact. Merchandise can be returned in original packaging with the original tag on it and must be unworn. Returns will be at your own cost. Please email events@spirited-union.com and we will send you a return form.
