About Bonsucro
Bonsucro is a global non-profit multi-stakeholder organization that promotes sustainable sugarcane farming. It is dedicated to reducing the environmental and social impacts of sugarcane production, processing and trade around the world. It does this by establishing sustainability criteria and certifying sugarcane products such as ethanol, sugar and molasses. As of 2019, Bonsucro had certified 27 percent of the world’s sugarcane planted land. Why we care
Spirited union is actively seeking ways to incorporate sustainability into our company. By being an active member of Bonsucro, we are supporting sustainable sugarcane farming. We believe that this is important to prevent exploitation of sugarcane land. This membership helps us in our mission to create botanical rum that unites people and to produce in an environmental and socially sustainable way.
