SPIRITED UNION INTRODUCES A NEW STYLE OF RUM: LEMON & LEAF – BOTANICAL RUM

Without further ado, it’s my pleasure to introduce our new botanical rum; Union Lemon & Leaf.

Its a light Agricole style rum from Mauritius, made from fresh sugar cane juice. Distilled with Amalfi Lemons straight from the Amalfi coast, Blue Mountain Eucalyptus, and Sri Lankan UVA Highland Black tea. It’s incredibly fresh and deliciously mixed with tonic water and lemon.

WHY BOTANICAL RUM?

Ever since we started we’ve been on a mission to introduce a new approach to rum. We focus on the vast world of botanicals and how they can create vibrant and exciting new tastes

Rum is an incredible spirits category to be in. It has so much diversity in styles and approaches. Different origins and distilleries each with their own flavour characteristic. We like to embrace this diversity and evolve its taste using real natural botanicals. Working with nothing but the finest ingredients, both dried and fresh, we want to set our approach apart from the flavoured/spiced rum category which has been dominated with sickly sweet and artificial liquids… It’s why we think botanical rum sounds right for us.
