WaThe leaning trunk of a palm tree stands preferable with the roots in sand mixed with ocean’s salt. The palm tree is a huge appreciator of the tropical sun. No surprise the trees are found along the equator. The ‘tree of the sky’, reaching up to 30 meters, carries the fruits together with enormous, evergreen leaves, that form the perfect contrast with a white sandy beach and crystal-clear ocean water.

Fun fact: Coconuts are perfect swimmers. After a coconuts fall on the beach, they are often collected by the sea. The coconuts travel the oceans, searching for the perfect beach to grow as a tree. After bobbing the salty sea for a long journey, sometimes over 100 days, the nuts are ready to mature as a tree.
