The story of
Good Spiced

Since the birth of Spirited Union back in 2017 we’ve made it part of our mission to take only what is necessary and to give back by supporting environmental and social impact projects through the Bonsucro organization. In 2023 we’ve joined the ‘1% for the planet’ fund and we’re donating at least 1% of our revenue of our Good Spiced rum to reforesting of the amazon by supporting impact projects in the region through the ‘1% for the planet’ organisation. Good Spiced rum is a delicately spiced botanical rum with rich complexity from our barrel aged vanilla pods and the palo Santo botanical.





Ugandan vanilla beans are known for their rich, creamy flavour and high vanilla content. Grown in a tropical climate, hand-pollinated, carefully cured and dried in the sun, they are a premium ingredient sought after by chefs worldwide. Using Ugandan vanilla supports a resilient local industry and celebrates a country’s spirit of determination.


Tanzanian cloves are a prized ingredient in the world of spices, known for their strong and aromatic flavor. Grown on the island of Zanzibar off the coast of Tanzania, these cloves are hand-picked and sun-dried to preserve their essential oils.


This ingredient, also known as “holy wood,” is a tree native to South America that is prized for its aromatic properties. Palo santo emits a sweet, woody aroma with notes anise and bitter almonds.



Add 40ml of Good Spiced rum and mix with 250ml ginger beer and a squeeze of lime juice. Pour all ingredients in a tall glass full of ice cubes, and garnish with a mint sprig & lime. This is a build cocktail and easy to make. Tasting Notes: Spicy kick from the ginger beer with hints of fennel and almonds due to the palo santo.
